EMMA Release Notes 12-4-2015

NEW FEATURES

Ability to Re Import Previously Deleted People We’ve extended the capability of the Importer to re import previously deleted people. When a person record is deleted from the People Management page, those records are soft deleted/archived out of EMMA. They will no longer be searchable or represented in reports, but are not permanently gone. If a previously deleted person appears on a future import file, that person record will now be restored and will repopulate in EMMA after the import. The field values in the restored person will match the information that was on the last import. The restore of deleted people is dependent on a unique identifier being chosen in your import profile. For example, if Social Security or Member ID is the unique identifier then that is how the import will know which person to restore or update.

Status: Done and Deployed (12/4).

ENHANCEMENTS

Importer Previously, the Importer took a long time to process an import file. Additionally, it would only import in batches of 4,000 records which forced Admins to monitor an import and click through to start the next batch. We have completed several enhancements to not only improve the import performance, but also improve the performance of the entire application. Additionally, we removed the need to import in batches and Admins can simply import in one step. In our testing of importing 4,000 records, it previously took 30 minutes to import those records. It now takes approximately 1.5 minutes. Overall the performance gain should be 15 to 20 times faster with these improvements.

Status: Done and Deployed (12/4).

FIXED

Right to Work Totals We fixed an issue with the Right to Work Report that was causing the Total Members Count to not calculate correctly after importing People.

Status: Done and Deployed (12/4).

Right to Work ABC Totals We fixed an issue with the Right to Work Report that was causing the Total ABC Count to not calculate correctly.

Status: Done and Deployed (12/4).

Change Log Date Fields The Change Log was displaying any date field changes as the unix timestamp for the date. This unix timestamp is how dates are stored in the database. We fixed this to show the readable date value, not the database value.

Status: Done and Deployed (12/4).

Assigning Stores in User Management We fixed an issue with the store assignment feature in User Management. Now, if Admins remove a Store from a Business Agent/Union Rep, it will remove that Store from both the user’s All page and Mine page. Previously it was only removing the Store from the All page.

Status: Done and Deployed (12/4).

Transfer Request PDF The Transfer Request PDF had the word “Deli” hard coded for the Department field. We have removed that word from the PDF and the Department field will now populate with the Department value pulled from the Person record.

Status: Done and Deployed (12/4).
